In this workshop, we will try to examine the interrelation between media-theoretical and narratological approaches with the help of concrete (material) text-examples.
The question of the specific 'vocality' of literary texts that is shaped with the help of specific typographic, bibliographic or hand-written characteristics has already been treated in older studies (in example Mats Malms Poesiens röster). In our workshop, we aim to discuss the consequences of the corresponding observations when it comes to the often ahistorical and universal categories of voice, modus and time that narratology deals with.
